Commercial Flooring at Coca-Cola Plant
Challenge
The Coca-Cola plant in Lenexa, KS, needed a remodel of its break room and bathrooms. In the past, they laid their floors with an epoxy coating, which started to wear away, peel, and chip. Michele wanted to get this remodel done to improve the look of her building and for her employees. She wanted a nice, welcoming space for her employees to take breaks. She also wanted the floors to last a lifetime, could handle the everyday traffic and use.
Solution
Michelle called Hello Garage to come out and evaluate the break room and bathrooms. One of our Garage Gurus came out to talk through options to create the space she was envisioning. Our team - Jordan, Kevin, and Antonio came out to help with this project. The first step to recreate this space was to remove the existing epoxy flooring. Once this was removed and cleaned, our team ground the surface of the concrete to open the pores and create an even surface. Then we were able to apply our 100% polyaspartic floor coating in color Midnight Gray. Polyaspartic flooring is the best option, especially for these spaces, as they are waterproof and extremely easy to clean. The project turned out great, and the employees love their new floors!
