Garage Floor Coating Photo Album: Failed Epoxy Floor in Topeka, KS
Washburn Tech were having issues with one of their epoxy floors chipping and peeling away. They needed to get it redone, but wanted to look into different options that were more permanent. They called Hello Garage, and Garage Guru, Hunter, came out to help. Hunter explained our products and options and the benefits to them compared to other options like epoxy. Polyaspartic coatings are built to last through the years, so they are resistant to peeling, chipping, or yellowing from the UV rays. They have a nice granite-like appearance that comes in many colors, and has a nice slip resistance feel. It also has a fast installation time, making this project last just one day instead of a week like most epoxy floors. Failed Epoxy Floor
This building on campus was looking rough. It's old epoxy flooring was chipping and peeling away, leaving the concrete unprotected from the everyday foot traffic and use of the building.
During Installation
Our Hello Garage Installation team removed the epoxy that was on the floor, grind the surface to smooth the area and open the pours, and repair the cracks that were in the concrete.
Finished Installation
In one day our team was able to take the failed epoxy floor and turn it into a beautiful space with a coating that is meant to last a lifetime!
